Neil Blank is a UK-born, US-based producer and multi-instrumentalist whose work incorporates post-punk, electronic, ambient, and classical influences. With a background in design and visual culture, his music has strong narrative structure, characterized by a unique sonic palette that blends digital and acoustic colors.
Blank's debut album, A Machine for Dreaming In, was written and recorded over five years as he traversed America, from Brooklyn to Silicon Valley to the high desert of New Mexico. The resulting collection is a rich, varied experience both emotionally and sonically, offering poignancy and catharsis, excitement and deep calm.
Now splitting his time between Los Angeles and Santa Fe, Blank continues to craft music that defies easy categorization, while continuing to bear his distinct signature.
